Dr. Averill is the most caring DR. He knows just how to diagnose and prescribe help. Very thorough. Dr. Patel was also wonderful to work with. His staff, everyone, are all great.

I'd like to thank Dr Averill and his Fellow Dr for diagnosing me quickly, sending me to the emergency room and probably saving my life. I am in my 70s and have had serious asthma since I was 4 years old. I thought my lung issues were based on asthma when it was heart failure rather than pollen that was causing most of my breathing issues.

Regina Pruitt is an exceptional PA (Physician Asst). She is extremely competent, professional and has great “bedside manner.” She was instrumental in getting me to“ look at other options.” I was recovering from a recent heart attack and had a serious case of insomnia. My sole intent was to seek more medication by getting her to prescribe a sleeping pill to “knock me out.” After thoroughly reviewing my situation, including my medical history, recent hospitalization and the list of current medications, Regina wisely advised to not to take additional medication. She patiently explained to me that prescribing such a “sleeping pill” would not be a good solution. She sincerely feared that the interaction of the numerous drugs would lead to a serious problem. She recommended that I use a CPAP machine with a specific face mask to help me to sleep. While I was initially disappointed with her recommendation (because I expected a “quick and easy solution), I’ve come to realize that Regina’s recommendation was much more practical and logical.
It is not too often that I am very impressed with a medical professional. However, I would enthusiastically recommend Regina Pruitt if you are seeking a very knowledgable and caring Medical Professional. I found that the entire staff was a pleasure to deal with.

Outstanding team member,Cherrie,at the Research center.Cherrie’s professionalism & courtesy should be recognized. She was the link in gaining documents necessary for a MRI. All information was told to me in a clear, precise manner with a follow -up call later that evening..outstanding..Thank You..

I went to Dr. Averill MD, for the first Time,I found the
Office to be very Peaceful, There is a beautiful
Chapel to the right of his Office. He has various Spiritual Statues and Pictures on the Wall.His office
Staff were all very friendly. I thought his PA Regina was very professional,and took the time too answer all my questions. Dr Averill came and spent. A lot of Time With Me, Of his Recommendations. For Tests and Why, I would highly recommend him too anyone, A very genuine smart kind Man.

I totally love this doctor. He is one of the doctors in Florida that listens to his patients and does everything he can to take care of the problem. He also let you know every step of the way what's going on and why he's using the treatment methods he's using.
