The Assistant Clinical Research Coordinator works closely with the Clinical Research Coordinators who are responsible for coordinating and conducting of ALL aspects of clinical drug studies from pre-study planning and recruitment through successful completion of all patient visits and understanding of regulatory documentation.

We have many new studies in various modalities. Our Clinical Research department has been part of St Francis Medical Institute for years and and has been expanding and growing. The Assistant Clinical Research coordinator is an important and integral member of the Clinical Research Team.
Duties will include the following:
- Assisting the Research Coordinators in all aspects of patient visits
- Working directly with patients, such as conducting patient questionnaires, PFTs, spirometries and phlebotomy
- Recording, databasing, organizing and coordinating information and study materials
- Working in conjunction with the medical practice
- Reviewing medical charts for inclusion and exclusion criteria for clinical research studies
- Responding to replies from advertising from people interested in participating in clinical research
- Discussing opportunities with medical practice patients that the medical providers have selected as possible participates
- Scheduling patients visits for Clinical Research
