As part of 2010: The Year of the Lung, the American College of Chest Physicians and other members of the Federation of International Respiratory Societies are excited to announce the first World Spirometry Day (WSD). Observed on October 14, WSD provides all health-care professionals the opportunity to promote the diagnosis of lung conditions, encourage people to get their lungs tested, and to raise awareness about lung health.

Congrats!
Rose Averill is once again nominated for Business Woman of the Year 2010 and won the 2009 Health Care Heroes Award!
Saturday May 22, 2010 –
St. Francis staff and friends gathered on the Palm Harbor Waterfront at Pop Stansell Park for “Party in the Park”. Rose, Carol, Kim, and Pam all helped make this an awesome time for everyone. Ryan and Joe judged the chili contest – a unanimous decision --- deee-licieous. Visitors received nice gifts and learned more about St. Francis and Dr. Averill. Totes, toys, and calendars were offered to survey participants. All in all, a beautiful day in the community.
